NEW MUSIC | ZOKA THE AUTHOR ‘KNOW ANYONE?!’

Listen Here

Fresh from unveiling his double single release “Flowers” and “Mosaic Flows”, emerging lyricist Zoka the Author keeps the momentum going with his fiery new drop, “KNOW ANYONE?!”.

Exuding confidence and capturing the attention of listeners from the start with his rhythmic flow set against the bouncy production, it’s a welcome alliance as he teams up with fellow artist Lemzi for the new offering.

Speaking on the track he said: “If 2020 was one long and terrible night,

“KNOW ANYONE?!” is the shot of coffee we need to get us out of bed and ready to tackle 2021. It’s a song about unwaveringly pursuing our goals despite the setbacks we’ve faced. If 2020 couldn’t stop us going forward, what can?”

Making his presence known as a talented lyricist since 2017, Zoka the Author’s penmanship and fusion of poetry and Hip Hop has seen him stand out from the crowd, setting him aside from his peers in a highly respected field. From flexing his performance skills successfully touring a collaborative Hip-Hop & poetry project and selling out his first headline show at o2 Academy Islington, to creating a rap album for his dissertation and achieving a First Class Honours for his formidable efforts, his drive and determination hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Following a celebrated discography to date, including 2020’s ‘Reflections’ EP and his ‘Penned In’ Instagram freestyle series, Zoka the Author remains consistent in perfecting his skill, all whilst surpassing expectations, reaching the masses with his lyrical prowess. Don’t sleep.
