NEW VIDEO | RIGHTEOUS “FOR THE LOVE”

Canada’s Hip Hop sen­sa­tion Right­eous releases visu­als for his new single “For the Love.” The single/video fea­tures Recog­nize Ali, the late Faith Walk­er, and DJ Mer­cilless and is taken from Right­eous’ EP titled ‘Be Con­scious Of.’

For those not famil­i­ar (shame on them) Right­eous cur­ates real, raw, feel-good music authen­t­ic to Hip Hop and the cul­ture. He does it “for the love” which is evid­ent watch­ing the video. He is from an era of clas­sics, a time when rhymes car­ried substance…20 years later he can’t be thrown off by gim­micks or trends, he’s too vet­ted. Although it’s “for the love” don’t get it twis­ted, Right­eous runs this micro­phone sur­viv­al of the fittest…

On the hook is cel­eb­rated R&B vocal­ist Faith Walk­er (RIP) who accen­tu­ates the lyr­i­cism with pas­sion­ate, soul­ful melod­ies sure to raise neck hairs. DJ Mer­cilless comes through with clas­sic cuts and scratches.
