Your favour­ite rapper’s favour­ite rap­per, Dev­in The Dude is one of hip-hop’s best kept secrets. A Hou­s­ton born MC, he star­ted out as a mem­ber of the Odd Squad, later known as the Coughee Brothaz, a group of rap­pers signed to Rap-A-Lot Records, before becom­ing a cult solo artist in his own right.

Dev­in has released nine solo albums from ’98 all the way through to 2017, always to crit­ic­al acclaim with hits such as ‘Doobie Ash­tray’, ‘Lacville 79’, and ‘What A Job’. He also made a num­ber of guest appear­ances, includ­ing on Dr. Dre’s ‘Fuck You’ in 1999, and De La Soul’s ‘Baby Phat’ in 2001, and on Tech N9ne’s ‘After Party’.
