South Facing Fest­iv­al is a brand new open air con­cert series tak­ing over Crys­tal Palace Park this sum­mer, fea­tur­ing 12 head­line music per­form­ances and a host of free mid­week events for the whole com­munity. 

Today the fest­iv­al announces its second wave of shows, with two days of live music and DJs cur­ated in col­lab­or­a­tion with Brixton’s jazz, funk and soul fiesta Cross The Tracks, a spe­cial day fest from Bad Vibra­tions and Heav­enly Record­ings, and a mega 5th birth­day cel­eb­ra­tion from World­wide FM. Amongst the artists play­ing the shows are Masego and Nubiy­an Twist (Full Steam pt 1), Corinne Bailey Rae and Cymande (Full Steam pt 2), Sleaford Mods and Bax­ter Dury (Sleaford Mods All Day­er) and Kruder & Dor­fmeister and The Comet is Com­ing (World­wide FM), plus many, many more. 

The shows join South Facing’s already impress­ive lineup of head­line per­form­ances from Dizzee Ras­cal & The Out­look Orches­tra, the Eng­lish Nation­al Opera (ENO) per­form­ing a con­cert of Tosca, Max Richter, Super­grass and The Streets. 

The genre-span­ning series will run from 5–31 August  2021 in the park’s icon­ic open-air con­cert stage, the Crys­tal Palace Bowl, which has pre­vi­ously hos­ted some of the world’s biggest artists (Bob Mar­ley, The Who, Pink Floyd).
