CHANCE THE RAPPER, JANELLE MONÁE, MS. LAURYN HILL, THE INTERNET, KAMASI WASHINGTON, RAG’N’BONE MAN, H.E.R AND MORE ANNOUNCED FOR NORTH SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL 2019

The NN North Sea Jazz Fest­iv­al has announced the first wave of artists con­firmed to per­form at this summer’s event, which will take place at the Ahoy Centre in Rot­ter­dam from 12–14th July 2019.  The world’s largest indoor music fest­iv­al will offer an array of inter­na­tion­al stars, jazz icons and pion­eer­ing acts from across the worlds of jazz, soul, blues, hip-hop, RnB and more, includ­ing much-adored Chica­go rap­per Chance The Rap­per, trail­blaz­ing hit-maker Jan­elle Monáe, Grammy-win­ning super­star Ms. Lauryn Hill and con­tem­por­ary jazz pion­eer Kamasi Wash­ing­ton.

 Also con­firmed to per­form at the 44th edi­tion of Rotterdam’s fam­ous event are six-time Grammy award win­ner Burt Bachar­ach,icon­ic jazz stars Diana Krall and multi-mil­lion selling Jam­ie Cul­lum, the legendary rock/pop group Toto, unri­valled solo-voice mas­ter Bobby McFer­rin and Brit­ish soul power­house Rag’n’Bone Man, as well as a long list of upcom­ing genre-blur­ring acts and artists such as The Inter­net, H.E.R, Jac­ob Banks and Masego.

Less than an hour’s plane-ride away or a dir­ect train from Lon­don St Pan­cras, the North Sea Jazz Fest­iv­al is eas­ily access­ible from the UK and has built an unri­valled repu­ta­tion since its incep­tion in 1976 as one of the most unique and eclect­ic events in the music­al cal­en­dar. Hav­ing played host to the likes of jazz greats Miles Dav­is and Ray Charles all the way through to D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Jamiroquai and Earth, Wind and Fire, the North Sea Jazz Fest­iv­al is a legendary event unlike any oth­er and will this year present more than 1000 musi­cians in over 150 per­form­ances across its 3 days.
