UK Hip-Hop and alternative rapper, SPO releases his latest EP, ‘My Drive Factor’. Reminiscent of American rapper DaBaby, this EP makes use of melodic passages and lyrics that resonate with the listener. Piano lines, groovy beats, and themes that explore SPO’s life and situation. The best representation of his mindset, this EP proves SPO never loses perspective in any part of his journey in life.

Hailing from North London, SPO has channeled his love for music into a project of his own, finally deciding to give it his full energy. He describes music as the only true escape he had as a child, with a difficult upbringing and several run-ins with the law. A reflection of SPO’s musical journey, his EP represents his struggles trying to get into the creative head space, and then staying true to himself and finding his flow. Written at a time in his life when there was a lot of change, ‘My Drive Factor’ highlights the positives and negatives of chasing his dreams. Having to improvise during the pandemic, SPO recorded the EP in a creative space that he built himself, working with 3 different producers in the process.
