Fol­low­ing the release of his single “Like Magic”, Kdot­Melody shines through with his bold, euphor­ic and time­less release “Canis Major.”

This con­cep­tu­ally inter­galactic and son­ic­ally poppy futur­ist­ic six track EP tra­verses hip hop, elec­tro pop, afro house, gar­age, neo soul and more. Kdot­Melody works with pro­du­cers 1822, LOELASH and Benny Zenn, and with long-time col­lab­or­at­or Kaye Orbit, to explore unique sound­scapes and expand his sig­na­ture aes­thet­ic.

The tracks: “Like Magic”, ”Miss It” and “Miy­agi ” are the found­a­tion of the pro­ject, pro­duced with in-house REG­NAD pro­du­cer 1822. KdotMelody’s pas­sion for cre­at­ing authen­t­ic, hon­est hip-hop has led him on a jour­ney of extraordin­ary evol­u­tion and Canis Major is a mile­stone in his matur­ity as an artist.

“Shade of Amaz­ing” is a thick, smooth and warm track with an uplift­ing mes­sage of prosper­ity encour­aging people to keep the faith. Bouncy gar­age notes infused with neo soul and pop vibes cre­ate a mel­low, golden hour, sum­mer glow for you to bask in.
