NEW MUSIC | MAZEYJUNE DROPS NEW SINGLE ‘TURN’ PRODUCED BY GG PENEY

Emerging R&B artist MazeyJune is set to drop fresh music in the form of her incredible new song ‘Turn’. This compelling work touches audiences through its familiar subject matter, shaped by the artistically explorative journey she takes us on.

Channeling her deep affections for a love within song, this fully bloomed single is thematically charged with personal reflections, upheld by motifs of growth and vulnerability. June’s vocal timbre, sonically comparable to the work of Sade, is emotionally vernacular and nostalgic.

Speaking on the song, she said the track is “Returning to the knowledge that my relationship with God is everlasting and runs deeper than any other relationship in my life, and the feeling of coming home to that truth is expressed in the track.” she continued.. “..came out organically on the beat Jack (GG Peney) made, without writing anything down. It felt like I was tapped into a higher power and channeled the song,” she continued, “the whole track is a freestyle.”

Building on her history of collaborations, including several with Isaiah Dreads, the small-town Cornwall-based artist continues to thrive in her career, rooted in openness and honesty. You will be sure to connect with the essence of her new single, crafted by her sensational vocals, written to engage an inner emotional conflict we can all relate to.

Life Long Records artist GG Peney is responsible for the music production. He is credited with a long line of exceptional work with the likes of hip-hop legends Jehst, Karl Sage, Melanin 9, and CrisptheCook.
