NEW MUSIC | HARVEY MARWOOD DROPS IMPRESSIVE DEBUT EP ‘COGNITION’

Kent-based artist Harvey Marwood drops his debut EP titled Cognition. Marwood, who released the well-received “Psychic” at the tail end of last year accompanied by an exclusive music video on GRM Daily, follows that up with new tracks such as “Cognition Freestyle”, “Kodak” and the HEN$HAW-assisted “Radiation” to round off the EP. The highly-rated 17 year-old shines with dynamic and introspective lyricism which touches on his emotion and exploration of his own personal experiences and mental state built over hard-hitting and impressive hip-hop production.

Speaking on the EP, Marwood says:

“I was very intrinsically motivated and influenced to create this project for myself before I had plans to release it to fans; I wanted to create a body of work that I could be proud of, and that would reflect my personal qualities and life so far, and still be relevant in years to come”.

Having emerged on the scene in May 2019, Harvey Marwood has been making noise within the underground UK rap scene with his impressive punchlines and unique delivery which has caught the attention of of BBC Introducing, GRM Daily, and notable artists such as Stormzy and Aitch.
