Hail­ing from Merry­lands in West­ern Sydney, Lebanese-Aus­trali­an artist Ay Huncho teams up with big guns Youngn Lipz and Mike Akox on a fresh glob­al-sound­ing banger ‘Upgrade’, released via Biordi Music, the power­house record label at the fore­front of the cur­rent explo­sion of Aus­trali­an rap, drill and RnB.

Just in time for sum­mer, ’Upgrade’ is an enrich­ing single that show­cases West­ern Sydney’s stun­ning diversity by blend­ing a pleth­ora of col­ours and sounds that cel­eb­rate love, lust and lev­el­ling up.

On the single, Ay Huncho said, “Upgrade is really just a mad sum­mer song, Its great to start the year with banger like this — good energy only. This is eas­ily my favour­ite song I’ve released yet, and I’ve got more on the way”

The music video shows Ay Huncho and his crew enjoy notori­ety around Sydney for their lav­ish life­style, the music video fit­tingly sees Huncho and co flaunt­ing their abil­ity to upgrade their love interest’s qual­ity of life — everything from expens­ive jew­ellery, lux­ury cars, design­er cloth­ing and most import­antly, his time and atten­tion.

Con­tinu­ing Ay Huncho’s elev­a­tion with­in the music industry, the single has already deb­uted strongly at 150K streams on Spo­ti­fy in the first 2 weeks of release, build­ing great momentum with playl­ist sup­port from A1, in addi­tion to the video trend­ing at #9 on You­Tube.

Step­ping it up and step­ping out with a major intro­duc­tion to him­self, the artist has shown tre­mend­ous growth over the last 12 months, with this record firmly show­cas­ing his vocal abil­ity as a sing­er as well as a rap­per fur­ther solid­i­fy­ing his pos­i­tion with­in the top tier brack­et of Aus­trali­an Hip Hop and R&B artists.
