Newcleus
With Support from Captain Over
The Jazz Café, Camden
August 7th 2019
7pm — 10.30pm
Alongside Egyptian Lover, Newcleus are heralded as one of the most pivotal groups in the era of electro influenced old school hip hop in the early 1980s.
Their breakout album Jam On Revenge spawned the hit single ‘Jam On It’, a block-party favourite, which to this day remains an important touchstone in the evolution of east coast hip-hop.
We can’t wait to welcome the Brooklyn natives to our stage for a rare London appearance this summer.
Opening the show will be live synth funk electronic artist Captain Over.
