DJ PROSPECT PRESENTS SCOTLAND’S HOTTEST SPITTERS IN SHOW N PROVE PRODUCED SCOTLAND CYPHER (DJ TARGET PREMIERE)

As part of the Fire In The Booth team, DJ Pro­spect knows a thing or two about put­ting togeth­er free­styles. Fun­ded by Cre­at­ive Scot­land (Scot­tish Arts Coun­cil), shot at the legendary Glas­gow ven­ue SWG3 and with beats pro­duced by the Edin­burgh born Show N ProveDJ Pro­spect presents an all-Scot­land affair as the country’s finest spit­ters join forces on this Cypher, show­cas­ing the vari­ety and qual­ity of the rap scene north of the bor­der.

Fea­tur­ing Sho­gun (who appeared on BBC’s Rap Game and known for his vir­al hit ‘Vul­can’), Ransom FA (who also appeared on BBC’s Rap Game), Oakzy B and oth­er hotly tipped rap­pers Sher­lockMcRoy and Mel­roze (all who have been cham­pioned by DJ Tar­get at BBC 1Xtra)the Cypher show­cases each artists’ dis­tinct­ive flow and approach, high­light­ing the impress­ive diversity in Scot­tish rap and hip hop in 2021.

DJ Pro­spect has built one of the most sol­id reps on the scene, he was the first Scot­tish BBC 1Xtra res­id­ent ever, host­ing Fri­day nights with Charlie Sloth. His Edin­burgh club night Tipsy is THE premi­er urb­an party in Scot­land and he’s hos­ted prestige private affairs for the likes of Ed Sheer­an and Justin Bieber, as well as cur­at­ing and per­form­ing after­parties for the likes of 50 CentJay‑Z and Drake, not to men­tion a string of standout slots at fest­ivals like Gla­ston­buryT In The ParkWire­less and many more.
