REVIEW | SOULS OF MISCHIEF LIVE AT THE JAZZ CAFE LONDON, MARCH

Souls Of Mischief making their return to the UK for the first time in almost a decade!

SOM are a west coast group made up of A+, Opio, Phesto, and Tajai alongside DJ Breakbeat Lou are currently on a European tour celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the release of there debut album “93 ’til Infinity”

On this UK leg of the tour the group certainly supplied the demand with numerous sold out dates across a 14 day stint.

The world famous Jazz Café was packed and the atmosphere was palpable.
Backed by two DJ’s, the quartet ripped through decades of classic cuts spanning across their 30 year discography as well as choice Hieroglyphics (The crew Souls Of Mischief are members of) cuts which went down amazingly with the audience in attendance.

The groups chemistry, energy and interactions with the audience was magical at times.
Highlights for me included the performances of “Never no more” and the timeless classic “93 Til Infinity”

A brilliant 9.5 out of 10 (Near perfection besides some fans being upset that they ran out of merchandise after the show)
