Release Date: 27th November

IMVSOGIE releases ‘A Day in The Matrix Vol.1’. A soul soothing EP written over lockdown, with an intent to emulate the happiness and sadness experienced during the song writing process. Let each song consume you and show the differences in their meaning, as IMVSOGIE tells all within this release by giving us an insight on his feelings and memories through beautiful lyricism. ‘Swim Good’ is an ode to his late father and ‘City of Angels’ relates to how it feels to live in the world as it is today. With thoughts flowing onto paper, ‘A Day in The Matrix Vol,1’ is the most honest and heartfelt approach to a rap EP we have heard this year, listen now.
IMVSOGIE hails from Birmingham and stands out as an artist who has always been uncomfortable with being categorized. Following J. Cole and Loyle Carner, this multi-talented artist creates music to reflect his emotions, with this release utilising sad, introspective music to provoke a love understanding and emotional reaction amongst his fans and listeners. A singer, rapper and spoken word artist, this release displays the raw experience of IMVSOGIE. With previous releases ‘Island’, ‘Summer Nights’ and ‘Money 4 Ideas’ proving his biggest yet, ‘A Day in The Matrix Vol.1’ is set to close out this year by reflecting on the past whilst dipping your toes into the future.
