Hip-hop artist Charmz is about to release his brand new EP ‘Straight Vibes’ on the 2nd Octo­ber 2019. The pro­ject is his 4th release of 2019, fol­low­ing on from his latest single ‘Fiya’, released in July.
Inspired by per­son­al situ­ations and events, ‘Straight Vibes’ reveals Charmz’s ver­sat­il­ity, com­bin­ing genres and sounds to widen his appeal. With fea­tures from up-and-com­ing artists from the UK and USA, he winds his way through vari­ous tem­pos and flows seam­lessly, con­sist­ently provid­ing power­ful, ver­sat­ile per­form­ances from track to track. The EP explores sounds from afro-pop, trap, grime and hip-hop, a blend bound to catch the ears of the listen­er.
Born and raised in North Lon­don, Charmz has had an affin­ity for music since he was young, per­form­ing through­out his school years and in his loc­al church. Tak­ing his first steps into the hip-hop world in 2015, his first single garnered 100,000 views on Link Up TV’s chan­nel, lead­ing to oppor­tun­it­ies to work with the likes of Sneakbo and Mostack. A long run of singles and a debut EP later, Charmz had the chance to sup­port M Huncho on the ‘Mind Your Busi­ness’ tour Ramz at his show in Shef­field, cap­tur­ing the crowd with his ener­get­ic per­form­ance. Inspired by the likes of Drake and Stormzy, Charmz’s melod­ic, lively take on mod­ern hip-hop is quickly earn­ing a sol­id repu­ta­tion. 
 
‘Straight Vibes’ will be avail­able on all major stream­ing plat­forms from 2nd Octo­ber 2019.
