Mod­ern Life, His­tor­ic Issues

Frus­tra­tion is the man­tra of the nation,

Sub­jug­a­tion the tale through the ages.

Veiled behind the lies of politicians

But so obvi­ously boas­ted in edu­ca­tion’s pages.

It’s sick­en­ing the pro­spects of our kindred,

Depressed and lost amidst a sys­tem that hinders many’s abil­ity to pro­gress due to colour

And for oth­ers it’s drugs or sol­it­ary over worked mothers.

Sat on Cent­ral lane to work, immersed in Rat Race Sin with perks

That may lead to glory if not shirked

But for so many the claus­tro­pho­bia sends them bezerk!

Yet such is the meth­od of cap­it­al­ism, A con­struct for humans to exist with­in in attempt of increas­ing our share

Of what the State’s rulers dic­tate is fair.
