Modern Life, Historic Issues
Frustration is the mantra of the nation,
Subjugation the tale through the ages.
Veiled behind the lies of politicians
But so obviously boasted in education’s pages.
It’s sickening the prospects of our kindred,
Depressed and lost amidst a system that hinders many’s ability to progress due to colour
And for others it’s drugs or solitary over worked mothers.
Sat on Central lane to work, immersed in Rat Race Sin with perks
That may lead to glory if not shirked
But for so many the claustrophobia sends them bezerk!
Yet such is the method of capitalism, A construct for humans to exist within in attempt of increasing our share
Of what the State’s rulers dictate is fair.
