NEW MUSIC | NUTTY P RELEASES ‘COMMUNIC8’ THE DEBUT SINGLE FROM FORTHCOMING EP AND MOVIE-SHORT THE BIG SMOKE

Renowned UK artist-producer Nutty P drops new single Communic8, the debut release from his forthcoming EP
The Big Smoke.

Evoking the first taste of a dizzying, deep connection with his new found ‘ride or die’, Nutty is in fiery, forthright pursuit of his lover, finally able to ‘talk and chop.’

Communic8 teases at a project that promises to disrupt the scene and establish the fresh new sound of NeoDrill.

Communic8’s sophisticated soulful chord progressions, smooth drill and trap sonics ‚and choppy grime-esque lyric patterns tease at the six track EP that is to come. Once again, Nutty proves himself as pioneer of the UK music scene, laying the foundations for the unique, contemporary sound of NeoDrill.

Nutty P has never shied away from controversy. His dizzying workrate and ability to innovate has blessed him with commercial success: working with the best of British artists, including Skepta, Ghetts, Wretch 32, Wiley, Krept n Konan and Ms Banks; commercial airplay with support from Mista Jam, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe; and international tours and London residencies.

Communic8 is due for release on 18 August, accompanied by its own playful, irreverent music video produced and directed byLuna Legacy. Hot on its heels will follow The Big Smoke, an evocative, raw project that traverses the underbelly of London life. The EP inspired Nutty P to create his own debut movie-short of the same name, a neo-noir assassin story following our anti-hero Scarlet.
The EP provides the perfect score to this atmospheric, tense tale of Scarlet’s descent into a web of mysticism, unavenged vendettas and familial loyalties. With these epic accomplishments, Nutty P stands ready to take his well-deserved place at the forefront of the UK creative scene
