So listen up! ‘Think Big­ger’ is a real­isa­tion, a song that ded­ic­ates itself to the idea that in order to achieve whatever you feel is mean­ing­ful, then you will have to even­tu­ally ‘Think Big­ger’. The Ouroboros EP is a concept, tak­ing from the mean­ing of the word itself. An evol­u­tion of the cycle of life and the level of under­stand­ing you try to reach before your demise. Mayne is an Amer­ic­an rap­per, song­writer, and poet born in Mis­sis­sippi and raised in Mary­land. A spir­itu­ally focused artist speak­ing with intent to con­nect to the emo­tions and spir­it of the listen­er rather than the ego. Mayne crafts his music, with an aim to speak not for the next trend but for the soul pur­pose of true inner feel­ing, his per­spect­ive on life, to seek faith and pur­pose. Mayne listens to many dif­fer­ent genres of music which brought him to the real­iz­a­tion that all forms of music have an energy for the pro­mo­tion of cre­ation or destruc­tion. This ori­gin­al artist con­siders his music a new wave and thrives off try­ing to bring back an ele­ment of hip-hop that’s rarely heard today, guid­ance through music help­ing one anoth­er over­come obstacles that leave most in depressed states. Shar­ing his music as a neces­sity, this is what the people have been unknow­ingly wait­ing for, and if it’s not his music, it is the energy that’s grow­ing and is wait­ing to be heard.
