Dig­ging down into his psyche, ‘Man­ic Demon Dream­er Boy’ is the debut mix­tape from EX, the Fresh­man rap­per. Fol­low­ing on from the suc­cess of his EP ‘Spooky Boi’, ‘Man­ic Demon Dream­er Boy’ delves fur­ther into the themes of mania, per­son­al demons and fol­low­ing your dreams. Seek­ing to empower the listen­er with this mix­tape, EX has worked long and hard on this pro­ject, with some of the songs dat­ing back to 2018. Work­ing metic­u­lously on them for over two years, EX teamed up with engin­eer Thomas Fagan who recor­ded this ambi­tious solo pro­ject. EX is expect­ing to drop a video for new single ‘SHAKE’ at the end of Feb­ru­ary.
 
Fresh­man rap­per, EX (some­times known as ‘E Sex’), uses themes of free­dom, mor­al ambi­gu­ity, and the relent­less pur­suit of one’s dreams to paint a dark pic­ture for audi­ences. Com­ing off of his debut EP “Spooky Boi,” which gen­er­ated thou­sands of plays on Sound­cloud with little to no pro­mo­tion, EX’s new work is markedly light­er, fea­tur­ing the entran­cing and groovy hit single “Slip Away” along with an accom­pa­ny­ing video that exhib­its col­or­ful vapor-wave noir-inspired visu­als and dance moves. Always seek­ing to defy expect­a­tions, EX con­tin­ues to push the bound­ar­ies of his cre­ativ­ity and we can­’t wait to see what’s next for him!
