NEW MUSIC | DAT BOY DOPE ‘BETTER OFF AS FRIENDS’ (@dbd516)

Do you ever wonder what would’ve happened if things worked with your ex? “Better Off As Friends” is not about a side chick. Dat Boy DOPE (Defying Other Peoples Expectations) tries to relate with the guys who never made it official with the girl they used to talk to but are now in a committed relationship with someone else and can’t help but wonder what could have been. Very often past actions lead to wrong decisions like losing a good girl. “Too committed but to the wrong chick, had it all but I think I lost it” he confesses over the hypnotic production by Juno Adonis.
As the lead song on his upcoming album, REroute, Dat Boy DOPE deals with this internal conflict as he pursues to change his direction in life.
