Stamford Hill rapper Clavish is making sure he remains “the hoods’ hottest topic” with the release of new heater “Traumatised”. Kicking off the year strong with a teaser track from his forthcoming mixtape “Rap Game Awful”, Clavish departs from his usual sonic signatures, adapting his idiosyncratic flow to appease an instrumental driven by orchestral melodies and bouncy trap 808’s. “I’ve seen man get shot and stabbed, never left me traumatised, real n*ggas turning fake left me more surprised”, raps Clavish, as we see him detail how his world has changed since money and fame have unequivocally shifted the trajectory of his path. “Traumatised” follows Clavish’s release of Top 10 single “Rocket Science featuring D‑Block Europe” in November of last year, and serves as the second look-in of what’s to come on the rappers’ 28-track-wide sophomore offering “Rap Game Awful”.

Coming complete with a star-studded line-up of features from Fredo, Rimzee, Youngs Teflon, Teeway, Kaash Paige and many more, the arrival of “Rap Game Awful” signals a timely evolution of sound for Clavish. Across the 28-track-wide experimentation, fans can expect to hear Clavish ebb-and-flow between raps’ sub-genres, as he seamlessly merges his road rap sensibilities with trap and drill sounds. According to Complex UK, Clavish “makes rap seem like a breeze”. Having also been previously lauded by GRM Daily as “a rapper to keep your eyes peeled”, and by Clash Magazine as “North London’s rap force”, Clavish is one of the most hotly-tipped up-and-comers to emerge from London in recent years; with co-signs from The Face, Wonderland, Mixtape Madness and more.

Off the back of Clavish’s recent GRM Rated Awards nomination for “Breakthrough Artist Of The Year”, which saw him make his first TV appearance performing recent single “Public Figure” to applause from Dave and Stormzy, as well as the rappers recent nomination among an impressive cohort of “Best Newcomers” at this years MOBO Awards, the announcement of  “Rap Game Awful” is set to catapult the rising rapper to new heights. Following on from Clavish’s selling out his first headlining UK tour at the end of 2022, the arrival of “Rap Game Awful” in tandem with new single “Traumatised” boldly marks the rapper’s intentions to beckon in a new level of musical elevation at the outset of 2023.
