Hip-Hop heads, the wait is over! Kayncee, founder of Go For It Tribe, and Logic, the iconic UK Hip-Hop artist and founder of The Peoples Army, have officially dropped their highly anticipated single, Hip-Hop is a Feeling. Released last Friday, the track is already making waves across major streaming platforms and has sparked a buzz on social media.
The single sets the stage for the duo’s upcoming collaborative LP, Hip-Hop is a Feeling, which is set to drop on August 11th, 2025, in celebration of Hip-Hop’s birthday.
Hip-Hop is a Feeling is more than just a track, it’s an anthem that celebrates the culture’s emotional depth and connection. The song blends sharp lyricism with soulful production, as Kayncee and Logic reflect on Hip-Hop’s ability to inspire, unite, and empower.
With production that nods to legendary beatmakers like J Dilla, DJ Premier, and RZA, the track weaves together nostalgic samples with fresh, intricate beats. Kayncee’s masterful production meets Logic’s insightful storytelling, creating a powerful ode to the culture that shaped them both.
Alongside the single, the duo released a captivating music video, shot across iconic locations in New York, that visually honors Hip-Hop’s core elements — MCing, DJing, breakdancing, and graffiti.
A standout moment features a cameo by Immortal Technique, who joins Kayncee and Logic in Harlem during a Rebel Arms run, reinforcing the video’s message of solidarity and resistance. To celebrate the single’s release, Kayncee and Logic launched the #HipHopIsAFeelingChallenge, encouraging MCs, singers, breakdancers, and graffiti artists to showcase their talents. Since its launch, the challenge has taken social media by storm, with countless creative responses pouring in.
Several standout entries may be featured on the upcoming Hip-Hop is a Feeling LP, giving aspiring artists a platform to shine. The Hip-Hop is a Feeling LP promises to be an immersive journey through Hip-Hop’s roots, evolution, and impact. With features from both established and emerging artists, the project explores themes of self-expression, resilience, and community empowerment.
Recorded primarily at Go For It Studio in Crawley, with additional sessions at renowned New York studios like The Quad and Hip-Hop is Forever, the LP reflects a global commitment to preserving and celebrating Hip-Hop culture.
