Conk­arah teams with Cana­dian South Asi­an record­ing artist and pro­du­cer Roach Killa for a new party-starter single and music video “Switch (Fatty Fatty) –REMIX,” from the forth­com­ing debut EP Des­tin­a­tion Unknown (BMG), avail­able every­where Novem­ber 12 .

“Switch (Fatty Fatty) –REMIX,” co-writ­ten by Conk­arah and pro­duced by Roach Killa, is a feel- good blend of South Asi­an and Carib­bean-flare, com­bined with a dance-indu­cing and infec­tious track that will force you out of your seat. The new release is accom­pan­ied by a high-energy music video that cel­eb­rates the unique­ness of both cul­tures, dir­ec­ted by U.K. dir­ect­or Reece Selvado­rai for Grade A Productions.

Of “Switch (Fatty Fatty) –REMIX,” Conk­arah says, “It was great work­ing with Roach Killa. I love the energy and fla­vor he has added to this remix. I’m excited to share this new uplift­ing track with the world at a time when unity and pos­it­ive vibra­tions is what we need most.”

Roach Kill adds, “When man­age­ment came to me with the oppor­tun­ity to do an offi­cial remix of ‘Every­body Switch,’ I wanted to deliv­er some­thing fresh and unique with a mix of Dance­hall and my South Asi­an roots. I wanted to cre­ate an East meets West sound because music has no lan­guage. It’s a feel­ing with pos­it­ive vibes.”

Over the sum­mer, Conk­arah released a fla­vour­ful track and music video for “Papaya (Sick Wit It Crew Mix).” The release was the fol­low up single to the 2x Dia­mond-cer­ti­fied glob­al hit “Banana,” fea­tur­ing GRAMMY® award-win­ning reg­gae singer/producer Shaggy—which has now sur­passed over 2 bil­lion glob­al streams to date, the first Jamaic­an artist to accom­plish this mile­stone in a short release period.
