Describ­ing his exper­i­ences of grow­ing up in East Lon­don, ‘On The Block’ is the hot new single to come from Newham’s La Numba 1. Ori­gin­ally writ­ten in 2018, ‘On The Block’ was rewrit­ten last year as a solo track and has been released with fierce visu­als to accom­pany it which was premiered with GRM Daily. An ener­get­ic track, ‘On The Block’ is driv­en by the beat and the visu­al lyr­ics that describe La Numba 1’s intense teen­age years.
 
Known for his catchy hooks and flow, La Numba 1 came up through the East Lon­don scene in 2018 with his hit singles ‘Pull Up’ and ‘Mono­poly’. Receiv­ing con­sist­ent sup­port from GRM Daily and amass­ing over 100,000 streams on his videos, La Numba 1 is set for big things and is kick­ing 2021 off with a bang in the form of his latest single ‘On The Block’.
