California’s Jane Hand­cock has already racked up an impress­ive list of cred­its, writ­ing for A‑listers such as Kelly Row­land, Tyrese and Rick Ross. Now, step­ping into her own lime­light by pro­du­cing what she calls her “best work to date” Jane has­dropped her new EP and latest instal­ment of her ‘Where’s Jane’ series. Eager to elev­ate her work as an artist, Jane’s new EP ‘Where’s Jane? (Series 2)’ com­bines her strong song­writ­ing skills and inspir­a­tion from a pleth­ora of genres. With com­pel­ling anec­dotes of her life and jour­ney as an artist, Jane provides listen­ers with a dynam­ic sound and trans­par­ent mes­sage through­out the entire pro­ject. She explains:

“‘Where’s Jane? Series 2’ is a look into the recent events of my life. Everything I wrote & sang about comes from an authen­t­ic and vul­ner­able place. With this series, I wanted to focus on doing exactly what felt good to my spir­it. I wanted to music­ally match where I was in life at this very moment.”

Her pre­vi­ous EP ‘Where’s Jane (Series 1)’ helped estab­lish Jane as an artist in her own right and went on to be cham­pioned by Hot­Ne­wHipHop,Sing­er­sroom and Myhiphoplife – whilst her col­lab­or­a­tion pro­ject ‘Key­anaNikole’ with KeKe Palmer garnered sup­port from Vibe Magazine and many more key pub­lic­a­tions in the US. She has accu­mu­lated 15K+ monthly listen­ers on Spo­ti­fy, 8K+ fol­low­ers on Ins­tagram, and 16K+ total views on You­Tube — an audi­ence that is engaged and anti­cip­at­ing the release of her new project!
