NEW MUSIC | HARVEY MARWOOD RETURNS WITH HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SINGLE ENTITLED ‘17’.


At just 16 years old, Har­vey Mar­wood remains one of the most excit­ing upcom­ing with­in the UK rap scene. Hav­ing won KA Get Rated in 2019, a pres­ti­gi­ous title giv­en to a prom­ising artist with­in the industry, Har­vey’s latest release ‘Psych­ic’ war­ran­ted huge attrac­tion from a wide glob­al audi­ence, includ­ing radio play and sup­port from BBC Intro­du­cing in Kent. A sold out ‘Stable’ event in his neigh­bour­ing home town of Tun­bridge Wells, saw the emer­ging rap­per head­line an ener­get­ic and lively show, bring­ing mass hype and excite­ment, not­ably bring­ing through anoth­er young music­al prodigy, Oso Wavey Jay, to per­form with him as a spe­cial guest. Har­vey’s 2019, saw him release polit­ic­al, ima­gin­at­ive visu­als to his cre­at­ive and view­point fuelled single ‘Psych­ic’, via GRM Daily.

Har­vey Mar­wood remains one of the most excit­ing up and com­ing rap­pers with­in the under­ground scene. His latest offer­ing “Gimme That” (March 2020) show­cases his ver­sat­il­ity and immense poten­tial over a bouncy pro­duc­tion. There’s only a hand­ful of rap­pers that can hop on a a wide vari­ety of beats and show­case their dynam­ic lyr­i­cism, impress­ive punch­lines and unique deliv­ery.

Har­vey’s hard work has been rewar­ded with a major sup­port slot with Every­one You Know, on their UK Tour. His latest release ‘17’ is an emo­tion­al insight into his jour­ney thus far through­out his life and his music career – a blend of a lus­cious female vocals, emotive piano, deep beat and his raw vocal. Har­vey is releas­ing ‘17’ on 21st May, his 17th birth­day – with an EP in devel­op­ment and planned release for the end of June.
