Grime artist Tyrant Soul has just released his brand new single ‘Sauce’. This is his first release in almost 4 years, following on from his last track ‘One Take Freestyle’, which was featured on Link Up TV in 2015.

For Tyrant Soul, ‘Sauce’ serves as a re-introduction into the Grime scene, designed to ‘show part of my persona; joyful and confident’. Produced by Maniac (Stormzy, Wiley, Chipmunk), the track follows an old-school grime vibe, with Tyrant Soul displaying his choppy, energetic flow and lyrical talent over an intense, hard-hitting instrumental. The single will be accompanied by a music video, which will debut on Link Up TV on Friday 13th September.
Tyrant Soul has deep roots in Grime. Originally known as MC Hector, he was a member of Regal Players, a collective from South London. The remix of his first single ‘Rudeboy’ featured Big Narstie and charted at #2 on Channel U, solidifying his position in the scene, granting him the chance to headline shows with Grime giants such as Lethal Bizzle and Wiley. Now re-emerging after some time away, his classic take on the genre has drawn comparisons to Kano and Ghetts.
Outside of music, Tyrant Soul featured as a ‘roving reporter’ on the Paul O’Grady show, getting the chance to interview the likes of Rihanna, Craig David and Akon.

‘Sauce’ is out now on all major streaming platforms.
