Tommy Evans latest single pays homage to the extraordinary people in his life and wider society. Over a chilled out Temple beat, Tommy narrates the account of his aunt and uncle meeting by chance (or was it destiny!?) on a Paris — bound train alongside the tale of his grandfather’s aspirational ascent from working class lad to big boss status.
Svetlana (of XXVI Collective) — heard on previous single “El Jefe” cameos once again, showcasing her soaring soulful vocals on the hook. “(Extra) Ordinary People” is one of Tommy’s most personal songs to date, both epic and intimate, intelligent and emotive; a much needed dose of inspiration in these turbulent times.
