Hip-Hop rap artist Syllar is set to release his debut EP ‘Dawn of the Villain’ on 28th October 2019.
‘Dawn of the Villain’ is an EP filled with South-African trap beats, merged with lyrics about the rappers religious faith and struggles. With artists such as Mick Jenkins, Dizzy Wright and Vic Mensa stated as his influences, it’s clear to see that from this EP.
Born and raised in Johannesburg, Syllar started writing and recording at the age of 14 with childhood friend and collaborator Mack Taylor, who he continues to work closely with to this day.
