NC-based Hip Hop recording artist Spitty the Sequel releases a 4‑track EP titled ‘I Come Back Because I Love You.’

The seasoned artist, famed for his uncanny lyr­ic­al deliv­er­ance and incom­par­able witty word­play, shows off just why he can­not be con­tained into one box of style or sound. Although the EP is con­sist­ent with boom-bap and smooth R&B cadences, Spitty incor­por­ates inter­mit­tent tran­quil sound­scapes allow­ing listen­ers to hone in on his lyr­ic­al con­tent, which is not only relat­able but exudes a kal­eido­scope of raw emo­tions.

‘I Come Back Because I Love You’ touches on Spitty’s abil­ity to live the best life he’s cap­able of along with his desire, even as an odd future, to make moves in this world. He emphas­izes some dif­fi­culties with that task due to a lack of pos­it­ive role mod­els. Spitty also men­tions friends and how they oper­ate just like sea­sons, either hibern­at­ing or on vacation…yet the broth­er­hood has the poten­tial to strive.

The EP serves as a thought-pro­vok­ing can­vas delivered in such an eclect­ic approach with self-truths that is sure to have fans and listen­ers scratch­ing heads and self-reflect­ing.
