OUT NOW
Not allowing lockdown to slow him down, South London rapper Recky is releasing an EP of tracks inspired by the current events. Using this as an opportunity to find common ground with others, this EP takes us through a range of sounds and emotions, allowing us to connect with Recky. Ranging from wavey rap to trap, this EP shows of Recky’s versatility and sees him team up with Deepee and PM.
Starting his journey making wavey drill music in 2015, Recky has developed his sound into a more melodic rap style. Known as mentor to young rapper SL (‘Tropical’, ‘Gentleman’), the pair released well received singles ‘Boyz in Black’ and ‘Never’ which have amassed impressive streaming numbers on Spotify. His new EP sees Recky take on a more mature sound as he reaches out to new listeners to connect with in this troubling time.
‘Quarantine Blues’ is now available on all major streaming platforms.
