Moul­ded by his sur­round­ings, ‘Met Quota’ is the brand new album from Lon­don artist Selass. Fus­ing influ­ences from hip hop, grime and reg­gae, Selass presents a uniquely mod­ern sound which dir­ectly reflects his own life exper­i­ences. With input from Epik the Dawn, Cash­MoneyAp, Kayoti, Beats­by­e­mani, Ramoon, BENJII YANG, Mondo, Dav­id Mon­roe, ‘Met Quota’ is a diverse album filled with a life­time of obser­va­tions and per­son­al perspective.
 
Com­ing from North West Lon­don, Selass uses his sur­round­ings as the ulti­mate inspir­a­tion. The sights and sounds of Lon­don life are infused in his music as he pulls from a wealth of influ­ence for his writ­ing. Cit­ing Kendrick Lamar, Kano and Bob Mar­ley as key influ­ences, Selass is bring­ing us fresh and mod­ern sound­ing hip hop, serving us with a true reflec­tion of him­self as both artist and man.
