Written following an actual wake up call, ‘Woke Me Up’ is the brand new single to come from Brixton based rapper Money. With the instrumental leased from StunnahSez, ‘Woke Me Up’ was written periodically over two months. A real and honest expression of his truth, ‘Woke Me Up’ is putting Money on the map, as he expresses his intentions for his life. With its Trap inspired beats, ‘Woke Me Up’ is an example of the best music coming out of London, and we can’t wait to see what comes next from this promising new talent.

Growing up in Lambeth, Brixton has certainly shaped Money and has a strong influence on his sound. Money started writing when he was 13 as a way of processing and expressing what he had seen and been through. His music encompasses the pain and joy that he has had in his life, and resonates with people who can relate to this. “The music I make is for anyone who understands the struggle and what it’s like trying to make it in the world today.” explains Money who says that his music career is now progressing to the main stage, where people outside of his circle are starting to take notice. His last release ‘Pocket Money’ was featured on LinkUp TV, and things can only go up from here!
