NEW MUSIC | G. HUFF & LENA JACKSON FEAT. M.O.P. “ANOTHER DEAD RAPPER”

Mid­w­est rep­res­ent­at­ive G. Huff and South­ern spit­ter Lena Jack­son had a break­out 2019 fol­low­ing the release of Grace and Alchemy. The pro­ject received crit­ic­al love from main­stream music taste­m­akers includ­ing Okay­play­er, RESPECT and EARMILK among oth­ers. A few months into the new cen­tury, the duo recruits Hip Hop legends M.O.P. and Statik Selektah for a remix to deep Grace and Alchemy album cut “Anoth­er Dead Rap­per”.

“Anoth­er Dead Rap­per’ was one of those pivotal album cuts and people I respect like DJ Premi­er spunt heav­ily,” said G. Huff. ”For the remix we really wanted to get M.O.P. because there is no great­er duo with their level of chem­istry and spit­ting along­side them proves we’re an élite rap duo ourselves while Statik hit a com­plete home run on the production.”

“We have actu­al legends bless­ing us with their pres­ence on this,” said Lena Jack­son. “The energy and aggres­sion was already appar­ent on the ori­gin­al, so it’s only right the mas­ters of aggres­sion came through to enhance this joint and make it a whole oth­er experience.
