Release Date: 12th December
Dirty’ is an exciting new artist to emerge from 2020 and has announced his entry into the music industry with the powerful single ‘Ribena’. Fast paced with eloquent lyrics that speak to the realities of Dirty’s own past, ‘Ribena’ is an undeniable showcase of raw talent and artistry. Holding no punches, with his incisive lyrics and vivacious fierce tone Dirty vividly bares his soul, giving us a reflective insight into the world that can encompass the life of a young hustler and the struggles dealt with when dealing with near-death experiences. Survival is the name of the game with ‘Ribena’.
Daniel Farrow was born to a musically inclined father and artistically gifted mother, so it was inevitable that their artistic flair would be passed down into the gene pool of 26-year-old west London musician Dirty. Inspired by his parents and artists like John Coltrane and So Solid Crew, Dirty started laying down verses and guesting on tracks whilst he was still a teenager, developing a keen ear for beats and lyrics. After spending years consumed in a world of fast money, territorial warfare and run-ins with law enforcement, Dirty was forced to reconsider the direction his life was taking after a near death encounter. Setting up his own record label and getting to work in the studio he’s picking up where he left off in previous years and presents us with an artistic and punchy style that is raw and unfiltered. With his debut single and video Dirty is off to a flying start!
