Twenty years since their last release, legendary East Coast hip-hop crew Bone Thugs-n-Harmony return with the new single, ‘AWW SHIT’, out on April 25th via Greenback Records.

Like they never left, ‘AWW SHIT’ sees all five members Bone Thugs’ Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Flesh-n-Bone and Krayzie Bone, drop lyrical bombs over a typically West Coast beat. BTNH gave fans a taste of the upcoming track when they performed ‘AWW SHIT’ at the Mike Perry vs Jake Paul match last year (watch here). If you missed it, they’re currently on a headline tour with dates in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Detroit, Houston and more. (see full dates below)

More than 30 years since they first formed under the name B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e, Bone Thugs continue to deliver solid gold hip-hop flavours for the masses. They released albums ‘Strength & Loyalty’ – produced by Swizz Beats – in 2007, ‘Uni5: The World’s Enemy’ in 2010, ‘The Art of War: World War III’ in 2013, and in the same year collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign on the track, ‘Everything 100’. The group have since gone on to release mixtapes Thug Brothers Vol. 1, 2 and 3, along with special editions of older albums and an album of unreleased tracks called ‘The Lost Files’. Their heated ‘Verzuz’ battle against Three 6 Mafia in 2021 attracted millions of viewers, showing that they still go head to head against fellow hip-hop icons.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, known for pairing melodic rapid-fire rapping with smooth R&B style vocals, have left a major mark on hip-hop, being heralded as “the world’s most influential rap group”. Their biggest hits include ‘Thuggish Ruggish Bone’ and ‘Tha Crossroads’, a song dedicated to Ruthless Records founder and early mentor Eazy‑E. This reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for eight consecutive weeks, certifying double Platinum by the RIAA, with over two million copies sold in the United States. Bone Thugs also went multi-platinum with their 1995 album E. 1999 Eternal, which sold over 30 million records worldwide.

Thirty years since their formation, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony break a 20-year silence with their powerful new single, ‘AWW SHIT’—a landmark moment for any true hip-hop head. Out Friday, April 25th via Greenback Records.
