Inspired by his Grime her­oes, Torcha’s new release ”07Era’  is an homage to those that paved the way before him. Nod­ding his head to icons such as Ghetts, P Money, Chip, Grim­in­al, Dot Rot­ten, Lil Nasty, Devlin and more, ”07 Era’ show­cases Torcha’s lyr­ic­al abil­ity like nev­er before. Express­ing the opin­ion that 2007 was the golden age of Grime, Torcha also makes a point of emphas­ising how new Grime is more than upto stand­ard, and places his music along­side that of the greats.
Grime and Hip Hop artist Torcha hails from East Lon­don, and is aim­ing to make waves with his latest single ”07 Era’. With a strong ver­sat­il­ity, he caught the atten­tion of major radio sta­tions such as Kiss FM, Reprezent Radio, Kane FM, and West­side Radio with his most recent release ‘WOW’ which has amassed over 111k streams on Spo­ti­fy since its release earli­er this year. With his storytelling lyr­ics and power­ful flow, Torcha speaks of soci­et­al issues in his tracks, want­ing to inspire people with his music. With over a dec­ade of exper­i­ence under his belt, we are sure that this is the start of an excit­ing chapter for this artist, and we can­’t wait to see what comes next for him!
