One of Canada’s premier hip-hop talents continues his hot streak with an ambitious new single, urging listeners to keep moving forward.

Keilam has been working hard to craft a reputation as a gifted artist, musician and rapper since the release of his 2019 debut “Choppa”. Following on from his first single of 2021, “Out the Mud”, he continues to prove himself as one of the most adventurous and talented hip-hop artists on the global scene. His most recent single, the melodic trap ballad “Hard Body”, offers up an inspirational message to his audience, as he lays down lyrics on the themes of perseverance and determination that will hit home with anybody who’s made it through difficult times. Keilam’s signature vocal style shines brightly on “Hard Body”, as he winds his lyrics around a heavyweight beat built on hard-hitting bass, melancholic piano lines and rising strings that lend a bittersweet note of emotion.
“The lyrics and vibe of this project speak for themselves. You just have to tune in and listen.”
2021 is without doubt set to belong to Keilam. The rapper made a name for himself over 2020 with a series of red-hot singles that made serious waves online, before dropping “Out The Mud” in early 2021. Signalling a development in his style and maturity as an artist, the track marked the beginning of a monthly series of single releases leading up to the release of a fully realised album that will define his sound. His second release this year, “Hard Body”, is a resounding artistic statement that further confirms his status as one of this year’s artists to watch. While “Hard Body” urges his audience to “keep moving forward”, Keilam has been doing just the same, pushing onward as an artist as he broadens his fanbase, refines his sound and continues on his inexorable journey to the top.
“This release is about how through all the ups and downs in life you should always keep moving forward. Do not let any any negative people or energy affect your journey.”
“Hard Body” is available on Spotify and Apple Music now.
