Fol­low­ing on from the suc­cess of ‘My Way’, Manchester­’s mean­est spit­ter OneDa is back with ‘Power’, a tri­umphant song of dig­nity and female fin­esse. Through­out the song, Oneda’s over-arch­ing sen­ti­ment hits home, deliv­er­ing her self-assur­ance, self-respect and self-esteem. A state­ment of how OneDa needs the approv­al of no-one and assist­ance of no one to real­ize her intern­al value.

Describ­ing the track, OneDa breaks it down…

“Power is all about the strength that comes from hav­ing full belief in your­self and your abil­it­ies. Trust­ing and know­ing who you truly are and the lack of need for jus­ti­fic­a­tion by society.”
