Producer, DJ and certified finger drummer Y‑ETizm has released the first of a series of taster videos produced by GlobalFaction to show the skill of his live production technique. Originally from Debrecen in Hungary, Y‑ETizm – also known as Yeti – is based in London and has been steadily building his reputation on the Hip Hop scene and in the wider community of producers over the last few years. The city has had a profound effect on his style and he produces and performs routines across genres including Jungle, Grime and Dubstep with a strong influence of Soul and Jazz.

Y‑Etizm is the founder and organiser of Chop Shop, a showcase for producers and finger drummers and the man is on a mission to push live production further into the spotlight. Chop Shop offers producers a place to link, network and show their skills to audiences and potential collaborators. He has taken Chop Shop on the road across the UK and around the world, performing at festivals and events in New York, France and Poland as well as Hungary and the UK, sharing the stage with the likes of Funkdoobiest, Jeremy Ellis, HD Been Dope, Stig of the Dump and the late, great Sean Price.

The MPC is Yeti’s primary weapon of choice and, as is shown in the video, he has recently upgraded to the MPC Live. He’s sure to be exploring and making the most of the new features, so check this video of his Grime Routine and stay locked for more videos coming soon.
