REVIEW | CLOUD X FESTIVAL DELIVERED NICELY WITH GHETTS AS THE SURPRISE HEADLINER

Deep in the belly of the east along the Thames we arrived at the last minute location for the festival. Under beautiful settings we arrived in the courtyard with cable carts in the backdrop. After a few drinks and slowly settling in, the Djs had us bumping in the summer sun. Special mention to Shifa Ligero with the mashups and Crazy Cousinz filling us with that good olé garage vibes, mixed with pure sunshine bangers.

As the vibes in the courtyard died down, me and the gang commenced deeper into the complex to a dark room where the grime was in full affect. MCs were shelling and the dark room settings was perfect for the big bwoii basslines that was bussing out the speakers.

After a few screw face skanks and gun Fingaz, I wandered into the Warehouse, where it felt like stage show vibes! Infamousizak was getting the crowd hyped. The energy in that room was a whole vibe. Then it was nice to see the focus turn to some real rnb energy. The brother Santino le saint came on displaying dope vocals and singing that sweet rnb that makes babies. Special guest vibes had the place going mad when he brought out man like Col3trane to bless the crowd with his silky tones. He popped off a few bangers and had the crowd in full sing along mode. you know the energy was high!

Only right that the man of the moment should make an appearance. Ghetts was in the house! He came out to his hit ‘good hearts’ playing and instantly whipped the crowd into a frenzy. Man was not here to play. Going thru nothing but bangers in the catalogue. Bere jump up vibes had me wildin out. Honestly the perfect artist to close the event.

It’s a shame the other artists that was originally meant to perform never got involved cause it was a perfect setting for a day festival with good vibes. I’d definitely attend again. I genuinely had fun with the gang and the music was straight Tun Up ⬆️
