Pitt­s­burgh, Pennslyvania nat­ive Ill Advanced releases visu­als for “Maple Ter­race.” The single is taken from his latest pro­ject ‘C’ Est La Vie.’ The seasoned Hip Hop artist deliv­ers potent word­play and storytelling pay­ing homage to the home that’s played a cru­cial part in his growth. He also pays respect to his family/ancestors who fought battles for him to be here. All of which keep his feet planted in the con­crete. A back­drop of smooth bass­lines and drums under­line his lyr­ic­al ode.

In the video, audi­ences will see images of Ill Advanced with his chil­dren vis­it­ing Maple Ter­race and oth­er corner­stones of his child­hood and adult­hood. Audi­ences will also grip black and white stills of old fam­ily videos. Nar­rat­ive piano keys drive the track and aid in vivid imagery.
