Listen Here

A project young rapper Kyle Oashu never planned on releasing, ‘I Just Want to See the Sun Again’ tells personal stories written over the last four years. Heavily inspired by Tyler the Creator and Kanye WestKyle Oashu was the sole creative force behind this EP, including the design of the artwork and the recordings. Recorded in his sisters room, ‘I Just Want to See the Sun Again’ captures the essence of Kyle Oashu and the DIY Hip Hop he is creating. Honest and personal, Kyle Oashu defines himself with his strange beats and oddities that make his music so charmingly his own.

A 20 year old self producing rapper from South Carolina, Kyle Oashu is tapping into lofi hip hop that values honesty and personality. Starting out writing poetry when he was young, Kyle Oashu has released three projects, all of which tackle different aspects of personal trauma through dreamlike instrumentals.

‘I Just Want to See the Sun Again’ will be available on all major platforms on the 8th May.
