NEW MUSIC | KHALIL WILL (@khalilwill258s) ‘WRITIN’ ON MY OWN P.A.G.E’

KHALIL

The mixtape entitled Writin’ On My Own P.A.G.E is a culmination of songs that embodies Khalil’s personal experiences such as journeying from his home-state North Carolina to New Jersey to pursuing his college education and jump-starting his music career.

“I first came up with the concept of Patience, Adaptation, Glory and Experience while I was still living in North Carolina. One day I was having a conversation with my friend and we started talking about life, our future, current life situations, and other things then he mentioned having patience in life in order to receive the things we aspire for. After he said that I thought of the next few words. I used that as a guiding force for my life regarding my music career. Fast-forward a couple of months later I was able to move to New Jersey to pursue my educational studies and, also make progressive steps with my music career. Even today, I’m still practicing the concept of having patience with certain things, because I’m understanding that it can make a person look at their life in a different perspective or knowing that things don’t always come easy how we want it to be.

This mixtape is more like an introduction to my journey as I grow as a man and musician. My goal is to have this be the staple in my catalog that showcases my artistry within my future catalogs to come. I would say that this is perfect timing for myself to have written this, because I have lived through different experiences and for myself to grow in wisdom for 20 years and be able to move to another state within that time I was able to journal what I’ve been through so far.”
