Powerful political statement on social image and economic stance, ‘Zama Zama’ is the latest single to come from South African artist Black Poze. Written specifically about the illegal mining in the now closed mines in South Africa, ‘Zama Zama’ is a hustle culture for every South African. Recorded at Time is Money Entertainment’s studios, ‘Zama Zama’ is the second single from Black Poze’s debut EP ‘Kapa Dintshang’.
Affectionately known as the ‘Sotho Rap Genius’ Black Poze fuses Sotho lyrical prowess with western sonics to create a truly unique artform. Since joining Time is Money Entertainment in 2015, Black Poze has been gaining recognition for his politically and socially aware music. Black Poze released his debut single in February and was premiered and playlisted on Lesedi FM, and received coverage on MTVBase and Channel O.
