SENGAL

Keur­gui & the Waliy­aane band are sev­en artists from Seneg­al. On stage
they com­bine hard-core hip-hop with Afric­an rhythms while explor­ing new
sounds.

They are well known because of their polit­ic­al engage­ment and their
lyr­ics give voice to the youth in their coun­try, by address­ing social
and polit­ic­al issues. They are also founders of Y en a marre a
non-par­tis­an move­ment recog­nized world­wide which seeks aware­ness and to
become sur­veil­lant of Seneg­al’s democracy.

After 20 years of music­al career they are a ref­er­ence in Africa but have
also per­formed world­wide, France, Spain, Ger­many, Morocco, Japan, USA …
