‘Hip Hop 50’ is bringing together a slew of rap titans from Stateside and the UK to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the hip hop, for an extra special one-off night at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on Saturday 26 August 2023, with tickets on sale now here.
Headlining is the undisputed pioneer of the golden era of hip hop Big Daddy Kane, as he marks 35 years of his seminal ‘Long Live The Kane’ album, plus very special guest appearances from fellow Juice Crew wordsmith Masta Ace and DJ Marco Polo bringing that classic East Coast flavour, plus NYC’s incendiary Onyx.
Joining the bill will be the elder statesmen of Detroit Elzhi, Phat Kat and Guilty Simpson, the UK’s Hijack, MC Mell’O’ and Blade [05:21], plus DJ 279, Shortee Blitz and Mr Thing.
