Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham, in partnership with BeatsLearning and Queen Mary University, have organised ‘Sounds of an Unquiet Mind’, an event celebrating mental health through music, art and spoken word. This event will raise money to support residents in Newham and Tower Hamlets who have mental health issues, with a focus on providing creative therapy.
With more acts TBC, the line-up includes Lowkey, the London Philharmonic Choir, City of London Symphonia, Soudha and spoken word performers from all parts of the community.
There will also be a raffle on the night with prizes including two first-class channel tunnel tickets, and two day passes to Disneyworld.
A limited number of free tickets are reserved for people currently in receipt of benefits or with lived experience of mental health issues. All ticket sales support much needed mental health services so if you are able to buy a ticket then please do.
