The world’s most prestigious DJ competition returns to home soil in November where the best DJs and turntablists on the planet will battle it out for the titles. Expect world-class competition, Hall of Fame Awards, live rap performances, BBoy battles, and a mind-blowing lineup of headline talent.

Technics Presents the DMC World DJ Championships, the world’s most prestigious DJ competition, returns with its 41st edition to the city where it all began in 1985 this November. Following the huge success of DMC40 in Tokyo last year, the 2026 World Finals take place at KOKO on Saturday 14th November, with an official after party at Dingwalls for those who still have some left! Alongside the outstanding competitors, the DMC World Finals stages some unmissable performances and moments from former World Champions A‑Trak, Craze, and JFB performing over seven decks; breakdancing battles from the UK B‑Boy Champs Allstars, legendary UK rapper Monie Love, inductions to the Hall Of Fame, and the highly anticipated return of The Scratch Perverts who reunite after 20 years. Tickets are on sale now at www.dmcdjchamps.com/tickets

Following the Battleground Eliminations on 13th November at Theata on the Victoria Embankment, the World Finals on Saturday 14th promises at landmark event of razor sharp execution. From 1pm to 9pm at the iconic KOKO in Camden, the most technically skilled turntablists on the planet will battle across four categories, alongside a showcase lineup that matches the scale of the occasion.

Fans can expect flawless routines from Canadian star A‑Trak who lifted the world title at just 15 years old in 1997, and party rocking and technical precision from 2025 finalist Skratch Bastid, and 1996 champion DJ Noize.

This creative turntablism is further elevated by an appearance from legendary The Golden Era Allstars comprising Cutmaster Swift – the famed UK champion in 1989, DJ Pogo, and Prime Cuts of The Scratch Perverts.

And then there is the moment that turntablist fans have been waiting two decades for: The Scratch Perverts, together on stage for the first time in over 20 years.

Monie Love flies in from New York to perform on the DMC stage four decades after launching her career at the Championships in the late 1980s, and the UK B‑Boy Champs Allstars showcase just why they are the world’s best breakers, bringing raw power and pure technique to this exceptional night.

Plus, there is a very special live performance from World Champion JFB performing on 7 Technics turntables — seeing is believing.

A highlight of any DMC World Final is the Hall of Fame. 2026 sees two special inductions to the prestigious group of recipients; DJ Noize — three decades on from a World Championship performance widely regarded as ‘the perfect set’, and the Scratch Perverts for their lifelong services to turntablist culture.

Hosts for the night include DJ Babu from the Beat Junkies, Craze, and London’s finest Sarah Love and Mysdiggi.

The night continues at Dingwalls in Camden from 9pm to 3am, with an official after party featuring sets from The Scratch Perverts, A‑Trak, Craze, Skratch Bastid, Cutmaster Swift, DJ Pogo, Prime Cuts, Mr Thing and more to be announced. Hosted by Killa Kela, guests should prepare to have their minds blown as these legends go back-to-back-to-back-to-back, flexing the technical wizardry that make them some of the finest talents in the world. The best way to end the biggest night in turntablism.

Since Roger Johnson became the first UK and World Champion in 1985, the DMC World DJ Championships has defined the art of turntablism — building legends, breaking boundaries and inspiring generations of DJs across the globe. From bedroom practice sessions to world stages, no competition has shaped DJ culture like DMC.
