Firstly, a massive thank you for your patience. I know it has been a while since we released a print issue, so due to pop­u­lar demand we are back. But I Am Hip Hop hasn’t stopped, quite the con­trary actu­ally! As well as grow­ing our online pres­ence, with your daily dose of instant Hip Hop good­ness, we have also grown our col­lect­ive and are con­sist­ently blessed with tal­en­ted writers who have con­trib­uted their pas­sion and time to the cul­ture. We thank them for believ­ing in us and keep­ing us going!

We have also built our Glob­al pres­ence and con­nec­ted with Hip-Hop fam­ily across the world, under­stand­ing that Hip-Hop is a uni­ver­sal lan­guage and there are so many strong com­munit­ies mir­ror­ing our eth­os. So massive shout out to our world­wide Hip-Hop heads pre­serving the cul­ture and provid­ing plat­forms for the people.

So wel­come to Issue 5, we hope you enjoy read­ing it as much as we have enjoyed cre­at­ing it! Add this to your col­lec­tion of the past four issues and know that just as much love, ded­ic­a­tion and hope has gone into mak­ing this issue happen.
